Description

Esomeprazole 40mg + Domperidone 30mg is indicated for treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), also known as acid reflux, by reducing stomach acid and improving gut motility. It relieves symptoms like heartburn, stomach pain, and belching caused by stomach acid flowing into the food pipe. The combination also treats stomach and duodenal ulcers and conditions like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, where there is excessive acid production. How it works: Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that blocks the production of stomach acid. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food move more easily through the digestive tract.
